Winners of the Wayne Brighten Award

This trophy is awarded annually at the Club Championships to the Flitecrew member that has throughout the year shown these traites:

  • Commitment
  • Dedication
  • Teamwork
  • A Great love and enjoyment of the sport.

The trophy was donated by Waynes parents, Barry and Teresa Brighten in memory of their son, who was also brother to Laurel and Shelly. Wayne loved trampolining and for many years competed with his sisters at competitions all over the UK, occasionally throwing triple back somersaults. Wayne was always smiling, laughing and joking and was much loved and is missed by all who knew him and this is what makes this award so special.
